Yellow flowers

Yellow color attracts maximum attention with any features of the color of the flowers and, what is remarkable, in any light, that is why these flowers are so fond of using them in the decoration of festive events. This is due to the predominant spectrum of yellow. Nature “took into account” this feature of yellow and endowed many primroses with yellow flowers. Famous pollen carriers – industrious bees can generally be trained to perceive yellow as a priority, since it is perfectly distinguished from other colors. Therefore, it is useful for gardeners to know which yellow flowers will benefit the entire site by attracting pollinating insects.

Decorative yellow honey plants

Bright yellow primroses delight with flowering in early spring. Primroses can be considered an adornment of the alpine hills and do not let go of the tiny bush “burning” with yellow, even if it is in a single copy.

Vesenniki (erantisy) are also very frost-resistant small yellow flowers that will decorate the garden even before the snow has completely melted on the thawed patches.

Remembering the spring decoration of personal plots, it is impossible to forget about graceful daffodils. Yellow daffodils modestly but persistently bloom almost on a par with “alpine” primroses. The amazing survival rate of a yellow or false daffodil allows you to worry about their landing one single time.

Worthy of attention are the later blooming successors of bright yellow flowering – miniature irises. Dwarf forms are able to form beautiful independently formed bushes already 2 years after planting. In contrast to the dark green foliage, it is those that produce a yellow or white flower with a lemon tint and a pronounced speck on the beards that win.

A yellow flower as a symbol of summer is, of course, a sunflower. Moreover, it is not at all necessary to plant the site with “industrial” varieties. There are highly decorative forms, which, in addition to the courageous exterior, can have a whole palette of smells – from delicate to spicy. The secret of the successful coexistence of these large-sized annuals with other horticultural crops is that decorative sunflowers, mostly on one stem, have a whole “bush” of flower rosettes.

It is very easy to decorate the site with common flaxseed – an excellent honey plant with yellow flowers, which are popularly called “small snapdragons” and “dogs”. Long flowering (up to 80 days) and a large amount of sugars in the nectar, along with the absolute undemanding of the plant to the conditions of detention, allows the bees to visit the site throughout the warm season.
