We all love summer so much. This time of the year always warms us with bright and bright sun, hot weather and flowering plants. Summer is an amazing time for gardeners and florists. And all thanks to the fact that during this period we have a large amount of living materials for decorating bouquets, beautiful flowers in the fields, and summer cottages with fresh red roses.

But despite all this fabulous situation, the flowers are very difficult to tolerate the high temperature that can catch us on any summer day.

Flowers have been a wonderful home decoration for centuries. Without this symbol of love and femininity, not a single family holiday or celebration takes place. It is customary to give bouquets of flowers for any occasion and even without it. And regardless of whether they gave you a bouquet or you collected it yourself, a delicate aroma, harmony and a festive mood are provided to you. If you have not felt warmth and comfort in the apartment for a long time, order flowers.

As mentioned above, hot weather has a fatal effect on flowers. And it’s not about varieties. Whether it’s roses, chrysanthemums, daisies or tulips – they all require special attention. And if you do not follow some rules, a bouquet of flowers can quickly lose its attractive appearance and freshness. And we know that withered flowers look very sad and remind us of the transience of our life.

And so, how can you help flowers in hot weather and keep your bouquet fresh as long as possible? Now we will tell you a couple of tips from professional florists. They are all very simple and easy to remember.

1. Flowers need light, but they are negatively affected by the sun. Therefore, the bouquet should be placed in a lighted room, while avoiding direct sunlight.

2. The life of flowers depends on temperature. The bouquet will keep its appearance fresh at a maximum of +17..+19 C. It is difficult to observe this temperature regime in summer weather. The ideal option for flowers would be frequent watering with cold water and spending the night in the bathroom. If you have a wedding bouquet, then the best option would be a dark closed place with sufficient moisture.

3. Flowers don’t like drafts. Be careful with opening the windows in the heat.

4. Be sure to trim the ends of the flowers before placing them in the vase. The procedure is preferably done under water.

Everything is very simple. Follow these simple recommendations and you will easily be able to keep the freshness of flowers at any time of the year, even in the heat.
