A beautiful bouquet of flowers is one of a thousand win-win options that can make any of us a little happy. What can I say, just remember how the eyes of a woman who receives flowers as a gift shine. Thank God, there are enough situations in our life when flowers are appropriate and it is customary to give them: birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, all-Russian holidays, a sign of respect, reverence and friendship, some kind of achievement, etc. But it is much more pleasant when the thought “I will buy flowers” suddenly illuminates and such a gift becomes especially pleasant.

Buying a bouquet of flowers in any city today is not difficult, because we now have flower shops on every corner. However, the question will still be relevant: how to choose a bouquet and at the same time purchase a sufficiently high-quality product? That is, so that the flowers do not wither the next day, but please the person for whom they are intended?

There are a few simple rules, the observance of which will help you not to make a mistake in choosing:

As a rule, if various glitters, varnish, and similar excessive decorations are applied to the buds, they are not very fresh, so you should refuse to buy such flowers.

Buying flowers is the right decision. Preference should be given to individual flowers, rather than ready-made bouquets. It is better to ask the florist to immediately form a bouquet of them. The fact is that in a lush and beautiful bouquet it is quite easy to hide flaws in the form of one or two wilted flowers. When choosing and viewing colors individually, it is more difficult for the seller to hide defects, and it is easier for the buyer to assess the quality.

It is worth carefully inspecting the stems and buds for integrity. It happens that they are attached with needles, pins and even tape. Be careful, because very often sellers need to sell stale goods by any means.

It is not recommended to purchase flowers whose stems are completely without leaves – this may be an indication that they have withered. The sellers, in turn, claim that they were simply cut off, because it was necessary for such flowers.

Petals should look natural and fresh. If you notice slightly pale edges or dried petals, black dots, the flowers are probably not fresh.

The same goes for the cut. One has only to look at its color: the darker, the longer these flowers are in the outlet, and this, for sure, means that they are not fresh.

The part of the stems in the basket with water will tell you that the flowers have been in the water for a long time – in no case should they be covered with a slimy layer.

The most important thing is that the bud should be dense and elastic to the touch, which indicates the freshness of the flower.
