Can you imagine a garden without flowers? Probably not! After all, the garden itself in spring is one big flower.

Our life is full of colors and aromas, but it is thanks to garden flowers that we can make it even brighter. These plants delight us, give us their smell, turn our heads, cause admiration … They can be given, sing songs about them, admire their beauty, display in paintings, collect. And also this is a good, and even very profitable business. After all, there is always a reason for a beautiful bouquet of these beautiful plants.

Every year, garden flowers give us a palette of shades, smells and a variety of shapes. Distinguish flowers are annual, two-three summer and perennial; herbaceous, shrubs and trees. And for a separately selected species, you will need your own care, conditions for normal growth, soil, lighting and humidity. It is also necessary to know that some types of garden flowers cannot be planted next to each other, as they will begin to fade and disappear.

In order for garden flowers to grow well, multiply and not suffer from all sorts of diseases, they need good care.

Consider a few basic requirements for the care of garden flowers:

Timely watering is the amount of water that a plant needs, depending on its biological characteristics, soil composition and development phase. It must be remembered that evening watering is more effective, since water penetrates the soil better, and does not evaporate.

Loosening is able to provide a normal water-air regime in the soil, and this is very important for the good development of the root system. When loosening, many weeds are destroyed, especially in hot weather, when their roots are dried up by the sun and wind. Safe herbicides that are not harmful to humans can be used to kill weeds.

Mulching is a process that allows you to save moisture and heat in the soil, while preventing the development of weeds and giving plants additional nutrition as a result of the decomposition of the mulch. Also, mulching allows you to reduce the process of loosening several times. Peat, sawdust, bark, compost, old leaves, or synthetic materials are perfect for mulching.

Fertilizer is the feeding of plants during the planting period (rotted manure, wood ash, mineral complex fertilizers). The second top dressing can be started no earlier than 1 month after planting, when the plant has already taken root.

Plant diseases and all kinds of pests can be controlled with chemical plant protection products, but then you too run the risk of inhaling chemical fumes and harming insects such as bees and bumblebees. But fortunately, garden flowers are resistant to diseases, and even they themselves can repel insect pests with their smell.

Learn how to properly care for garden flowers, and they will give you wonderful aromas on warm summer evenings.
