Reproduction can be done throughout the year, but the most favorable time is in spring and summer, when the plant is in the phase of active growth. For cuttings, you need to take fully developed leaves with a cutting length of 1-1.5 cm. The cutting is placed in water, sand or a mixture of peat soil and sand. Rooting occurs in 3-4 weeks. Young leaves appear in 1.5-2 months. Plants are transplanted first into small pots in the ground of the following composition: 2 parts of leaf, 3 peat, 1 part of sod, humus soil and sand. In addition, good drainage is essential. Then, after 1.5-2 months, the flowers are transplanted into larger pots. Systematic top dressing is necessary. The transplanted plant begins to bloom in 6-7 months.

Violets also reproduce well by dividing the bush. When daughter rosettes appear on the mother plant, they are separated and transplanted.
